Make an impact today
We would not be able to create homes for young people without the generous support we have received over many years. Your gift is truly helping to transform lives by giving young people a safe and stable home.
Setting up a monthly donation also helps us plan for the long term, ensuring we can continue supporting young people well into the future.

Did you know that you can support Shelter Community through your workplace?
If your employer offers payroll giving, you simply need to let them know that you would like to donate to Shelter Community and specify the amount you wish to give each month. Payroll giving is a great way to support our work because your donations are taken directly from your gross salary, making them tax‑free and hassle‑free.
Many employers also offer matched giving. If yours does, they may match your monthly donations to charity, which means your gift could be doubled at no extra cost to you. This makes an even greater impact for the young people we support.
By choosing to give through payroll, you help us provide safe homes and stable futures for young people in need.

Leaving a Legacy to give young people a home
When it comes to leaving a legacy, we understand that your family and friends come first. After providing for your loved ones, choosing to leave a gift in your Will to Shelter Community will help support some of the most vulnerable young people to give them a home when they need it most.
-
If you have any questions or would like to discuss how your legacy gift could be used, please get in touch with us. We would also be grateful if you could let us know if you decide to leave a gift to Shelter Community, so we can keep an accurate record.
-
Creating or updating a Will is straightforward and often more affordable than expected. We recommend using a solicitor or qualified Will writer. They may ask if you would like to make one of the following:
A residuary gift, which is a percentage of your estate
A pecuniary gift, which is a fixed amount of money
A specific gift, such as a valuable item or possession
You will need the following details for your Will:
Shelter Community
Address: 62A Elliott Road, Chiswick, London, W4 1PE
Charity number: 1151910 -
If you would like to specify how your gift should be used, please contact us (wiedmer@sclondon.org). We would be delighted to talk with you and ensure your wishes are clearly understood and honoured.
